Let The Birds Know I Can't Sing

A bird with a weak, despondent caw seems to be engaged in lamentation with the intent of making all in earshot aware of its woes.  I hear you, I fail to understand.  I can try, but I may never know your world.  What I perceive as a dirge to some trial lost may be a proclamation of bright times and new life.  It is best I do not seek it out and express condolences. It may be an overstepping of bounds.  Frowned upon eavesdropping.  Since I lack any context, I may really embarrass myself.  The urge to intervene is tempered by the realization I am out of my depth.  It is important to realize I do not have all the answers or can even decipher the question.
